Cancer Challenges Meet With Resources
When Will Cancer Get the Memo?
I've a message for cancer and its ever-ready ability to destroy good cells: STOP IT. Not my cells that I’m talking about because happily I’m not a cancer survivor. I’d love, as others would, to see it part ways with our daily lives. For now, all I can do is support anyone with the challenges of cancer disease.
There’s one question that comes up in my conversations: Do you know many people who've
died from cancer?
My reply: Too many.. Let regular annual checkups start now. Then, have a lifestyle
that every form of cancer will despise and ignore.
Research Moves in a Positive Direction
Researchers never stop their efforts. With members in many countries and founded more than a
century
ago, the American Association for Cancer Research AACR is dedicated to accelerating
the
conquest of cancer
.
The AACR blog, Cancer Research Catalyst relates current progress of research.
The incidence of colon cancer described in The AACR blog, Cancer Research Catalyst shows that this type of cancer is no longer an old person's disease.
Education Pays a Bonus
The students who took part in an essay project organized by the Manitoba Cancer Institute received one of these rulers. Writing about the different symptoms was a great learning experience when I was going to school.

Impacted by a Cancer Disease
Your last visit gave you great news, well sort of. It’s in remission. Or even better news. You’ve no sign anymore.
How can such good news be tempered by this turn? Life after a cancer diagnosis has its ups and downs so seek out support groups that are filled with others who've been part of the same scenario.
Research acknowledges that alcohol is a factor in some types of cancer. During the recovery from bad news, alcohol often has a part in a person's life.
As cancer hasn’t stopped its invasive ways, researchers haven’t stopped their determined efforts. Oh yes, researchers have found a link between alcohol consumption and cancer.
Fundraise and Help Yourself in One Month
The Ontario Division of the Canadian Cancer Society has organized a fundraiser to target this partnership. It’s DryFeb. What if you find no alcoholic beverages for a month a refreshing way to deal with the February winter. That’s my one thought, by the way.
You can always prepare for future times. Check this web page for local details to take you to a whole new place without booze like people do in other parts of the world where it's an annual event.

Going alcohol free for a month started 10 years ago in the United Kingdom. The website describes how it began and what's happening now.
